About Leopold
Leopold is a large residential suburb about 8km south-east of Geelong CBD, sitting at the start of the Bellarine Peninsula Highway. With a population of more than 13,000 people, it's one of Greater Geelong's bigger suburban hubs — a community with a strong local identity and easy access to Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, and Queenscliff. The Leopold Hotel on Kensington Road has long been the suburb's central meeting point, a full-facility community pub that doubles as the last stop before the Bellarine.
