About Drysdale
Drysdale sits at the heart of the inner Bellarine Peninsula, about 25km south-east of Geelong CBD along the Bellarine Highway. It's the main service town for the surrounding communities of Clifton Springs, Portarlington and the inner Bellarine farming districts — with the famous Bellarine Railway terminus nearby. Tourism traffic has grown steadily as the Bellarine Peninsula becomes a more established day-trip and weekend destination from Melbourne and Geelong, with wineries, cycling trails and coastal beaches all within easy reach. The Drysdale Hotel on Collins Street is the town's local pub, a well-established community venue that's been serving the Peninsula since the 1930s.
