Inside, Pharaoh's Bistro runs classic pub meals with weekly specials and a senior/kids menu, the sports bar carries Geelong's biggest screens for the big games, and the Luxor Showroom hosts touring Australian and international acts plus regular function bookings.

Sky Racing TAB, on-site accommodation and a Thirsty Camel bottle shop round out the offer, and the kitchen and bar trade right through to 4am every night of the week — making the Sphinx one of the few Geelong pubs open after midnight on a weeknight, alongside Grovedale Hotel. Twenty minutes south of Avalon Airport on the Princes Highway — the practical sit-down after the daily 10:50pm Sydney return (JQ613), the one Jetstar service still landing that late.
